The XTherm NXT provides more insulation than the XLite NXT for a modest increase in the published Regular-size weight. Whether that is useful depends on your coldest planned ground conditions and the rest of your sleep system.

Interpret the insulation difference correctly
R-value describes resistance to heat loss through the mat. It is not a sleeping-bag temperature rating and cannot be converted directly into a guaranteed minimum air temperature. Your bag, clothing, shelter, conditions and personal needs remain relevant.
The higher-rated mat may be worth investigating for colder trips or a broader seasonal range. The lighter mat may suit trips where its insulation is appropriate. Avoid choosing solely from a marketing season label without considering the actual conditions.
Fit can matter as much as the number
Both Regular examples are 51cm wide, which some sleepers may find restrictive. Compare the relevant wider size if your shoulders or arms regularly move off the mat. Then recalculate the weight comparison using that same size in both models.
Keep NXT and NXT MAX variants separate. A rectangular MAX layout and a shaped regular NXT mat are not identical in usable space or weight. Check the selected size and product name before relying on the table.

Choose and maintain the complete sleep system
Compare the XLite NXT Regular and XTherm NXT Regular on Amazon UK. Check included inflation and repair accessories and use the correct procedure for the valve.
Protect either mat from sharp debris and inspect it before travel. More insulation does not eliminate puncture risk. For a cold trip, assess the whole sleeping setup and the consequences of equipment failure, rather than treating a higher R-value as the only preparation needed.
