A three-way camping fridge can operate from three energy sources, commonly gas, mains electricity and 12V DC. It does not have three temperature compartments. The usual portable absorption design also differs from a compressor fridge, so compare the cooling limits as carefully as the power options.

There are different regional gas versions. Match the rating plate, regulator, hose and approved supply to the instructions for the actual unit. A similar-looking product from another market is not enough to establish compatibility.
Gas use changes where it can stand

Think through each change of supply
Work out the journey, arrival and overnight sequence before leaving. Consult the manual on connecting and selecting supplies; do not improvise connections or assume that different energy sources should be operated together.
Include the gas cylinder, approved fittings and safe transport arrangements in the overall space and cost comparison. “No hook-up” does not mean that the equipment operates without fuel or preparation.
When a compressor alternative makes sense
